Associate Polarity Practitioner (APP) Program

The Associate Polarity Practitioner Program is a 160 hour program that meets for seven weekends (one weekend/month for seven months). It serves as an introduction to the principles of Polarity Therapy, which proposes that, "life is an expression of energy in motion, and, that healing and disease are processes that can be described in energetic terms." (APTA Standards For Practice)

Students have the opportunity to explore holistic philosophy and experience therapeutic, energetic touch in a safe and supportive environment. Studies include: theory, energetic & structural bodywork, communication & facilitation, nutritional health, stretching postures, energetic evaluation & integration, orthodox & energy anatomy and physiology, ethics, business skills, clinical practicum and supervised practice.

This level of training is complete in and of itself. It is an active and engaging personal process that promotes self-realization, conscious life-style choices and optimal well-being. Polarity Therapy blends nicely with other Complementary Therapies and attracts individuals from other professions. Nurses, teachers, counselors and massage therapists easily combine polarity principles into their already established careers. This level of training would also prepare one to develop an entry level Polarity Therapy Practice which recognizes that, "consciousness participates in the continuous creation of either health or illness."
