Nature,
in its Elegant Grace
and Phenomenal Abundance,
Contains an Inherent Energy
that Weaves the Fabric of Life.
It is Full of Mystery, Magic
and Miracles
Where the Ordinary is Truly
Extra-Ordinary.
Its Shapes, Patterns, Textures,
and Array of Colors
Fascinate and Rejuvenate Me.
Its Movement, Rhythm and Cadence,
Nourish and Inspire Me.
INSPIRED BY NATURE
I started living a back-to-the-land lifestyle in 1970 and discovered that being in nature enriches, inspires, and renews me. The colors, shapes, and reflections create designs that beckon me to come a little bit closer. Something I encourage everyone to do.
No need to foray far for my inspiration: beauty is abundant in the gorgeous gardens that grace my home; in the streams, ponds, and lakes that bless my community; in the ice and snow that blanket the earth, or mingle with leaves and water in the ditch on the side of the road; from the treetops to the catkin filled mud puddles of spring, beauty abounds.
My photographs are the awe-filled moments of magic, wonder, and delight I experience in my home environment and rural community. It's my pleasure to share them with you. May they renew your vision, refresh your spirit, and uplift your soul, as they do mine.
Kindness Cards are available at the following Central Maine locations:
- Berry's Stationers, 835B Kennedy Memorial Drive, Oakland.

PECHA KUCHA
PechaKucha (Japanese for “chit chat”) is a presentation method developed by two Tokyo-based architects, Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham, to maximize the exchange of ideas while keeping the audience's attention.
A presenter shows 20 slides with 20 seconds of commentary for each. PK became the world’s fastest-growing storytelling platform, used by millions around the globe.
My Pecha Kucha presentations took place at Thomas College and Colby College, Waterville, Maine.
